LAKE CHATUGE ANIMAL HOSPITAL, INC. WHERE WE TREAT YOUR PETS LIKE FAMILY

This is the Surgery Suite that is fully equipped with a heated surgery table, comprehensive monitoring equipment (ECG, blood oxygen and carbon dioxide, blood pressure, respirations, and body temp), Burton double ceiling surgery lights, German made soft tissue, orthopedic and opthalmic instruments, and the latest in laser and electro-cautery surgical equipment.  Justin Lee, our Managing Veterinary Assistant, can be seen on the left.

Here's the Radiology Suite featuring an adjustable floating surface for patient comfort and lead lined walls for employee safety, and includes an automatic processor.  We also maintain our PST (Pulsed Signal Therapy) unit in this quiet suite.

This is our dental station. The animal being treated here is a wolf that lives in a preserve nearby. Dental disease is the #1 health problem for dogs and cats. Plaque and tartar lead to gingivitis which can cause periodontal disease, root exposure and tooth loss. Also, gingivitis is a common cause of endocarditis, kidney and liver infections. Our practice emphasizes dentistry and we have the most modern equipment including ultrasonic scaling, polishing and fluoride treatments. We also offer antibiotic fillings and apply dental sealants to reduce future tartar.

This is our ICU unit. This is where anesthetized patients recover and where we hospitalize patients in critical condition who need around the clock treatment. Oxygen is piped in providing oxygen therapy when indicated; and unit is designed for intravenous fluid provision, to treat hypothermia, give routine nursing and emergency care, and allows constant observation.

Here is the Isolation Unit. It is critically important that patients with highly contagious disease like canine parvo virus or feline herpes can be isolated from the general hospital. This unit allows these patients to be hospitalized and receive excellent care while not jeopardizing the health of the other hospitalized or boarding animals. Notice the separate door where these patients can enter the hospital thus containing the contagious disease away from the general admittance and other hospital areas.
